Come and experience the 80th F1 Monaco Grand Prix on board our boat moored in Monaco Harbour with a direct view of the track.
The Monaco Grand Prix is one of the world’s most prestigious sporting events. What Formula 1 fan has not dreamed of one day experiencing this Grand Prix in the very heart of the city? And to add to the dream, why not watch the race from the deck of a boat in Port Hercule, surrounded by luxury yachts!
Have you never be tempted, just for a day, to find out what it’s like to be treated like a real VIP?
MONACO RIVIERA COMMUNICATION, the events business operated by Monegasque limited liability company Sarl MONACO RIVIERA NAVIGATION (www.monaco-navigation.com), offers this taste of heaven at a highly affordable price.
Having been operating since 1992, we have more than a quarter of a century’s experience of Grand Prix events under our belts, and we remain as committed as ever to doing everything possible to satisfy the expectations of our clients, many of whom have become loyal customers who return to our boat year after year.
Perhaps you will soon become one of our new clients?
With our expertise, we are at your disposal to offer advice and help you to realise your dream of taking part in the Monaco Grand Prix – and making sure that it is an unforgettable experience.
For 28 years, MONACO RIVIERA COMMUNICATION has been offering the opportunity to book spaces on board a comfortable vessel moored close to the illustrious Grand Prix track, perfectly positioned with a fabulous view encompassing the exit from the Fairmont Resort Hotel tunnel, the famous Chicane, the straight along the Quai des Etats-Unis, the Tobacco shop Corner, and the portion of the track which runs along the vast Gfrandstand K as far as the Swimming Pool.
From our boat, there is also good visibility of a giant video screen installed by the Automobile Club of Monaco above the Quai des Etats-Unis, which allows guests a view of the entire track so that they can follow the key moments of the race live, just like at home, while the commentary of the race announcer reverberates around the entire track over the loudspeakers.
In addition, to ensure the utmost comfort for clients, in the event that there is bad weather or the sun is too strong, a television screen is also installed inside the boat on Sunday, race day.
MONACO RIVIERA COMMUNICATION is delighted to present three different packages for Thursday, Saturday and Sunday; three memorable days on board (Friday does not offer sufficient interest in terms of practice sessions in the absence of the F1 drivers).
HOW DOES A DAY ABOARD THE BOAT WORK IN PRINCIPLE ?
You will first need to get to Monaco by the transport method of your choice: train (the station is located close to Port Hercule), car (numerous car parks are available), helicopter (from Nice Airport), or indeed sea (MONACO RIVIERA COMMUNICATION can offer or point you in the direction of options depending on where along the coast you are located).
Then, with the help of a map, instructions and a pass which we will send to you by post, you will find your way to a precise location at the harbour, where the MONACO RIVIERA COMMUNICATION shuttle will take you to the far end of the first jetty on the left in the T CENTRAL zone, for your journey into the harbour (no more than 60 metres) directly to our boat moored at the legendary Tobacco shop Corner.
Once on board, you will be able to take advantage the services available on your chosen day.
WHAT IS OFFERED THROUGHOUT THE THREE DAYS ?
The comfort of the boat, naturally, with its large covered deck, bar, two WCs, chairs and plush banquettes, and an open upper deck with a view of the portions of the track described above and the Automobile Club of Monaco’s giant video screen.
Each day, you will be free to leave the boat at whatever time suits you. Clients normally leave late in the afternoon, when the various practice sessions or races have finished, either making use of our shuttle (all clients are entitled to a return journey), or directly to the quay once access is authorised by the Grand Prix security team.
WHAT ARE THE DIFFERENCES BETWEEN THE THREE PACKAGES ?
First and foremost, of course, the difference lies in the race programmes: F1 practice sessions on the Thursday, F1 qualifying sessions and the GP2 Grand Prix on the Saturday and the F1 Grand Prix on the Sunday.
Then, the bar and catering options vary depending on the day selected.
You will find that the boat, in addition to the prestige of being among the superyachts in the harbour, offers amenities far superior to those you will find in the stands: a bar area on the upper deck, weather permitting (as it has done for the previous 24 Grand Prix events!)
or move inside any time to be protected from any potential showers or to find a little shade when the sun is very hot. The boat also allows quick access to the main bar where you can grab a hot drink or quench your thirst, relax for a moment on one of our chairs or soft banquettes (even take a short siesta!),
use one of the two convenient WCs or even top up your tan on the bow!
Time spent on board the boat is always extremely convivial, with previous clients catching up and small, impromptu events such as birthday celebrations for one or more of our guests, all conducted in a good-natured, friendly atmosphere...
Finally, the boat sometimes serves as a “home base” for the Automobile Club of Monaco marshals, the “men in orange overalls” assigned to the Tobacco shop Corner (officially known as Post 12) who give the boat a very special ambiance which is much appreciated by our clients.
Take some photos or video for an unforgettable souvenir.
